UNC is off to a strong start to the season, going undefeated in three games against Jacksonville, High Point and Iona. The Tar Heels’ early exit from last year’s tournament, an upset loss to Richmond in the first round, means redemption is certain.
Johns Hopkins also won its first three games, with particularly strong performances against Robert Morris and Loyola. However, North Carolina will be the Blue Jays’ first big game since their Feb. 7 game against Georgetown was postponed.
