SAN ANTONIO (AP) — Victor Wembunyama had 25 points, eight rebounds and five blocks and the San Antonio Spurs beat the Orlando Magic 112-103 on Sunday night in a game that was delayed five hours because of the Spurs’ travel woes.
The Spurs were scheduled to leave Charlotte after Saturday’s 111-106 loss, but had to stay overnight due to a snowstorm that dropped nearly a foot of snow. The team then encountered mechanical issues during the flight.

Devin Vassell added 16 points for San Antonio. Dylan Harper scored 15 points and De’Aaron Fox had 14 points and 10 assists.
Desmond Bane scored 25 points for Orlando, and Paulo Banchero had 19 points and 10 rebounds. Orlando has won two games in a row.
The Magic have been in San Antonio since Saturday after a 130-120 win over Toronto at home. The Spurs weren’t so lucky.
The game was originally scheduled to start at 3pm, but with Spurs arriving back home nearly 24 hours later than planned, the game was postponed to 6pm and then to 8pm.
The delayed start didn’t hinder the Spurs, who hit their first three shots and seven of their first eight to build a double-digit lead after five minutes. Vunbanyama took the first two shots, breaking through Wendell Carter Jr. in the paint and completing a finger layup and a two-handed dunk.

Wembanyama, who was questionable due to soreness in his left calf, was cleared to race half an hour before kick-off.
