Enzo Maresca is happy with Wesley Fofana but admits it’s too early for the defender to play two games a week.
Fofana has been plagued by injury problems during his time at Stamford Bridge but has shown signs that those issues may be behind him.

The 24-year-old has made nine appearances in all competitions, six of which have come in the Premier League, five of which have been starts.

Chelsea conceded a goal in the Premier League in November, with Fofana playing a key role in the defensive improvement.
The Frenchman has started to form a good partnership with Trevor Chalobah and although Levi Colwell remains absent, Maresca appears to have found his favorite partner.

Fofana was left out of the squad against Leeds United due to load management reasons, and Chelsea also performed poorly defensively in a 3-1 defeat.

The former Leicester City man should return to the starting line-up against Bournemouth on Saturday, but Maresca admits he is not yet ready to feature twice a week.
“Wes is performing well game after game,” he told Chelsea’s official website.
“Hopefully in the future he can play two games a week but I think it’s too early [for that now].
“What we don’t want Wes to do is [to push him and he then be] Four, five, six months later.
“We want to avoid that.”
Will Josh Acheampong be available soon?
With Fofana back in the squad, it will be interesting to see when Josh Achiampong gets his next game time.
