Watch: Rhamondre Stevenson torches Dolphins defense for third TD

New England Patriots running back Lamond Stevenson completed a hat trick and three touchdowns in Sunday’s regular-season finale against the Miami Dolphins.

He showed off his versatility by rushing for a touchdown early in the game. The veteran running back then showed off his receiving ability, winning on a route and ensuing catch for a 15-yard touchdown. He then capped off an incredible Week 18 performance by outrunning the defense for a 35-yard touchdown late in the third quarter.

The touchdown was Stevenson’s second-longest of the day and put an exclamation point on the Patriots’ second-half dominance. In the end, a rush that took 2 minutes and 06 seconds, a total of 4 offenses, and 63 yards ended. For Stevenson, it was his seventh rushing touchdown of the season.

Stevenson has been one of the most impactful players on the Patriots’ offense over the past two regular-season games. The team hopes that same effort will carry over into the playoffs. Stevenson and rookie running back Tre’Vion Henderson could do some serious damage to opposing defenses in the postseason.

Who knows? They could prove to be a winning formula for the Patriots.
