Vote for the Guardian Foundation Repair boys athlete of the week for March 16-21

Here are this week’s nominees for the Guardian Foundation’s Restoration of Boys Athletes. Voters have until noon on March 26 to submit their responses.

Candice Cherry, Alcoa: Cherry scored a game-high 20 points in Alcoa’s 57-48 victory over Fulton.

Justin Nordin, Bearden: Nordin scored 17 points and three three-pointers in a 71-61 loss to Bartlett.

Gabe Ronka, Catholic: Lonka went 1-for-2 and drove in two runs in an 11-6 victory over Hardin Valley.

Daniel Lanning, Farragut: Lanning scored 13 points on 6-for-10 shooting in a 76-58 loss to Walker Valley.

Nick Steen Fulton: In the loss to Alcoa, Steen had a double-double with 19 points and 15 rebounds.

Quinn Coykendall, Gatlinburg-Pittman: Coy Kendall scored 17 points and hit five 3-pointers in the team’s 61-45 loss to Westview.

Zadin Ivey, Gibbs: Ivey homered in the bottom of the 10th inning to lead Gibbs to a victory over Alcoa. He went 2 for 4 with three RBIs.

Ben Hamilton, Grace Christian: Hamilton went 2-for-3 with a home run and three RBIs.

Brody Carr, Jefferson County: Carr pitched eight innings, allowing 10 hits and striking out 12 in a 6-5 win over Catholic.

Zane Miller, Sevier County: Miller went 2-for-3 with a home run and two RBIs in a 6-5 win over Roane County.
