House Democrats released two batches of photos on Dec. 12, and Garcia promised more would come to light
As House Democrats continue to release photos collected from the estate of late sex offender Jeffrey Epstein, a congressman has confirmed that some of the images depict people engaging in sexual acts.
On Friday, December 12, Democrats on the House Oversight Committee shared a selection of photos from Epstein’s estate (reportedly collecting more than 95,000 photos in total), Virginia Rep. Suhas Subramanyam confirmed on CNN kathy hunter’s arena Some of the unreleased images depict “many people” engaging in sexual acts.
Asked whether the images collected by the committee included photos of “people engaging in sexual conduct,” the Democratic congressman told Hunter, “As part of this release, yes, there are some photos of people engaging in sexual conduct.”
CNN Politics also asked whether anyone other than Epstein was involved in the acts, to which Subramaniam responded: “We’re going through that.” The congressman said lawmakers “aren’t quite sure who is who yet,” but added, “Certainly there were a lot of people involved in some of these acts.”
The first batch of 19 photos shows more than 10 prominent figures – including Donald Trump, Bill Clinton, Bill Gates, Steve Bannon and the former Prince Andrew – in a variety of settings over the years. On the same day as the initial release, House Democrats released 70 more images depicting different angles of previously released photos of Epstein’s private island, CNN reported.
According to CNN, none of the photos released so far involve any sexual misconduct or individuals believed to be minors.

Hunt also asked Subramaniam what “disturbing” – a word widely used to discuss photos of Epstein, whether released or unreleased – meant in this context. “I mean, we’re talking about sexual conduct that may have involved minors and certainly victims, and in a very suggestive and compromising position,” the Virginia Democrat said. “That’s it.”

The congressman also commented on some of the people depicted in the newly released images. Asked whether the Clintons had been warned before their release, Subramaniam said: “We are not trying to protect anyone, Democrats or Republicans. We are looking for evidence and getting it out.”
“When it comes to whether it’s appropriate to publish something, the only people we really consult are the victims,” Subramaniam added. (The House Oversight Committee obscured the faces of several women in newly shared photos for privacy reasons.)
“If the Clintons have information, we want to hear it. We welcome them to testify before the committee and clear their names,” he said, adding that the same was true for Gates, the former Prince Andrew and anyone else in the photo.
Subramaniam added: “We want to hear what they know about Jeffrey Epstein’s crimes.”

Rep. Robert Garcia of California, the top Democrat on the House Oversight Committee, also addressed the “disturbing” photos reportedly collected from Epstein’s estate in an interview on Friday.
Appeared on CNN Kaitlan Collins Source On Dec. 12, Garcia told hosts and White House reporters that some of the photos they had received from Jeffrey Epstein’s estate were “pretty disturbing.”
He also told Collins it contained “many, many pictures of women.” Specifically, he said, “some of the photos are very disturbing about women and their conditions,” and Garcia added that lawmakers hope to release the photos in the coming “days or weeks.”
House Democrats have vowed to release more photos as they continue to pore over thousands of documents they have received.
