UFC 323 will return to Las Vegas as the final pay-per-view event of the year, showcasing two title fights. In the main event, Merab Dvalishvili will enter the Octagon to defend his bantamweight title for the fourth time this year against Petr Yan on December 6 at T-Mobile Arena.
Dvalishvili (21-4-0) will make UFC history by successfully defending his title for the fourth time in one calendar year. His first title defense was against Umar Nurmagomedov in January, which he won via unanimous decision. Dvalishvili’s second defense was a rematch with Sean O’Malley, which he won via submission in the third round. He then defended his title for a third time in October against Cory Sandhagen, winning the bout via unanimous decision.

Yan (19-5-0) turned around his fortunes after his last loss, to Dvalishvili in March 2023. He is currently on a three-fight winning streak, including two wins in 2024 and a unanimous decision victory over Marcus McGee in 2025.
