Tottenham 2-2 Man City: Solanke wondergoal completes Spurs fightback

Tottenham Hotspur grabbed an incredible point from 2-0 down at Manchester City thanks to a brace from Dominic Solanke, denting the visitors’ title hopes.

Rayan Cherki struck early for his ninth goal of the season and Antoine Semenyo joined him before half-time to make it 2-0.

Solanke turned the game around in the second half, finishing badly in the 53rd minute, but it was the complete opposite in the 70th minute when he fired an impromptu shot into the top corner.

The result leaves Spurs with just their second point in their last four Premier League games, while Arsenal sit six points ahead of Manchester City.

Spurs were riding high and would not settle for just one point, forcing the Manchester City goalkeeper to make several crucial saves.

The visitors felt they had unfinished business with Haaland and Tijjani Reynders having only half chances. It feels like anything can happen in this game full of twists and turns.

After nine minutes of extra time in North London, a thrilling game ended in a 2-2 draw.
