Newcastle United host Sunderland at the Stadium of Light earlier today as they look to get a good result on the road in the Premier League. The Magpies got off to a good start in the game and went into the break with a score of 0-0.
Nick Waltermade unfortunately scored an own goal in the 46th minute. Eddie Howe’s side failed to respond and suffered a 1-0 defeat in the Tyne and Wear derby.

He failed to establish himself in the game and his performances at right back were spotty.

Thio made a lot of key clearances at the back, but it wasn’t enough today.

He got off to a good start in the game but had to be replaced in the 41st minute.
