Thiaw Gets 8, Woltemade With 5.5 | Newcastle United Players Rated In Tough Defeat Vs Sunderland

Newcastle United host Sunderland at the Stadium of Light earlier today as they look to get a good result on the road in the Premier League. The Magpies got off to a good start in the game and went into the break with a score of 0-0.

Nick Waltermade unfortunately scored an own goal in the 46th minute. Eddie Howe’s side failed to respond and suffered a 1-0 defeat in the Tyne and Wear derby.

Ramsdale failed to make a save in the game and could do nothing against Walter Mader’s own goal early in the second half.

He fulfilled his defensive duties well and made a run with the ball.

CM: Lewis Miley – 6.5/10

Miley tried her best on both ends of the court, but the quality of the ball was poor.
