You could feel Dortmund were desperate to take advantage of their chances. We noticed that throughout the 90 minutes. Even after 2-2, they kept pushing forward; they were determined to win. But our lads didn’t sit back either. We kept working hard to create chances,” said Kompany.
Kompany also took the opportunity to emphasize the appeal of the Bundesliga and show the football world how exciting the league can be. “In my opinion, this is a good promotion for the Bundesliga. With this victory, Bayern Munich is one step closer to the championship and has an 11-point lead over second-placed Borussia Dortmund with 10 games left in the Bundesliga.
