The Longhorns have six quadrant wins and several impressive wins in the SEC. However, they’ve had a poor season, losing five of their last six games, including being eliminated from the SEC Championship game by Ole Miss, coached by former head coach Chris Beard. CBS announced the 2026 NCAA Tournament brackets on Sunday night, with Duke, Michigan, Arizona and Florida earning the No. 1 seeds. The first four rounds will take place on Tuesday and Wednesday, March 17-18 in Dayton, Ohio, followed by the first round on March 19-20. Second-round games will be held March 21-22, with the Sweet 16 and Elite Eight games March 26-29.
The Final Four is scheduled for April 4 at Lucas Oil Stadium in Indianapolis, with live broadcasts on TBS at 6 p.m. and 8:30 p.m. ET. The national championship game will be held on Monday, April 6 at 8:30 p.m. ET, also in Indianapolis.
