Phoenix has been without Jalen Green for 48 games and Devin Booker for 14 games.
Unfortunately for head coach Jordan Ott, the Suns’ health takes another hit heading into Saturday’s game against the Orlando Magic.
In that game, Dillon Brooks played just seven minutes before suffering a broken hand, adding another injury to an already unhealthy season.
Phoenix learned of Brooks’ recovery time Monday following the Suns’ final game Sunday against the Portland Trail Blazers.
Brooks is expected to miss at least a month and possibly up to six weeks, according to ESPN’s Shams Charania.

As the team continues to battle the illness, Ott said his team needs to stay strong in the face of adversity. “Identity doesn’t change,” Ott said. “Playing the same style. Our defense has to be better, our offense has to be better. (…) As things continue to progress, we have to find new ways.”
In Brooks’ absence, the Suns will certainly miss his 20.9 points per game on the offensive end and one steal per game on the defensive end.
In his absence, the duo of Colin Gillespie and Grayson Allen will be asked to be more offensive. As for the defense, Royce O’Neale and the recently acquired Amir Coffey are expected to strengthen.
O’Neal has done that, contributing 3 steals and 3 blocks in the past two games. As for Coffey, he played his most minutes (23 minutes) since being acquired on Sunday and recorded two steals.
