After three straight road games, the South Bay Lakers return home on Wednesday to take on the San Diego Clippers at the UCLA Health Training Center. Even though they lost guard Kobe Bufkin, arguably their best player of the season, to the Major League Baseball Lakers, they were still able to get the job done against San Diego.

South Bay trailed 65-55 early in the third quarter but outscored San Diego 38-32 in the third quarter and dominated the fourth quarter 35-22 to win 128-116. On Wednesday, the team shot 60 percent from the field, 15 of 36 from 3-point range, had eight more rebounds than its opponents, and outscored its opponents in the paint by 16 points.
