Serie A: Verona vs. Udinese – Confirmed line-ups and updates

Serie A’s struggling Greek side Verona will have to find a replacement for Giovanni when Udinese visit on Monday night, after the Brazilian was sold permanently to Napoli at the weekend.

Verona has won just two league games all season and has not tasted victory since the start of the campaign on December 14. For Paolo Zanetti’s 19th-placed side, a win was not enough to lift them out of the relegation zone on Monday night.

Udinese lost 0-1 to league leader Inter Milan in their last Serie A match, and their last victory was a 2-1 victory over Turin on January 7.

Verona made just one change from their 0-0 draw with Cremones last weekend. Giovanni has been sold to Napoli and will be replaced by Suate Serdar in tonight’s starting XI.
