The Seattle Seahawks are currently projected to select No. 32 overall in the 2026 NFL Draft, according to live rankings. That means the Seahawks are getting a Super Bowl winner in the draft. Imagine that!
The Draft Network recently dropped its latest first-round projections. The Seahawks picked up South Carolina cornerback Brandon Cisse at No. 32 overall.
“Seattle Seahawks considered trading Rick Woolen at deadline, but he redeemed himself at the end,” Draft Network wrote.”Woolen and Josh Jobe are both pending free agents, and the cornerback position is in flux. Brandon Cisse recently declared for the draft. Cisse has been outstanding on defense this season, and he is also an excellent tackler in run support.“.

We know what Seahawks fans may be thinking. Cisse and Seahawks rookie safety Nick Emmanwari were not teammates with the Gamecocks last season. Cisse transferred to South Carolina in 2025 after two seasons at North Carolina State.
Seahawks general manager John Schneider may be looking for a cornerback this offseason. As mentioned, Woolen and Jobe are both pending free agents. Cisse has the size and traits needed to develop into a high-level cornerback in the NFL. Schneider will be keeping a close eye on him throughout the pre-draft process.
