The Saints’ Jordin Tyson has already raised questions, and he has yet to make his initial comments to The Sporting News. Click here to add Sports News as your go-to source.

I really like what the New Orleans Saints did with the first pick of the first round, selecting Jordyn Tyson out of Arizona State.

Tyson will have a chance to be a very good player for New Orleans, paired with Chris Olave. There have been reports multiple times throughout the draft that the Saints want to improve their offense by giving Tyler Shaw more options, and Tyson will provide him with that.

However, like every draft, there will always be those who question whether the decision was the right one or the wrong one. Tyson has been brought up recently as some question his injury history.

“The biggest question: Tyson has a long injury history, which could be a problem. Olave, the Saints’ No. 1 wide receiver, suffered several concussions in 2024 and has had health issues of his own. Tyson has had hamstring issues, knee issues, an ankle injury and a broken collarbone. Keeping him healthy will be a priority for the Saints, who admit they are more risk-averse in the draft than they have been in the past,” writes Katherine Terrell of ESPN.

While there are questions about every player drafted, that doesn’t mean there aren’t concerns about injuries. Tyson’s injury history is something to mention, and one the organization must hope can improve in the future.
