In addition to the NFL Draft, Gladstone made seven player trades in his first year as general manager.

So as we head into the offseason, let’s reflect on each move.
Gladstone struck the deal in mid-March. In return, the Jaguars received a 2026 seventh-round pick. The move frees up $10.43 million in cap space for the Jaguars in 2025. However, injuries forced Kirk to miss time, and he appeared in 19 of 34 games over his final two seasons in Jacksonville.
Kirk played 13 games with Houston, catching 28 passes for 239 yards and a touchdown. Kirk caught eight passes for 144 yards and a score in the Texans’ playoff win over Pittsburgh.
Jaguars trade defensive tackle Kallen Sanders
In a player-for-player trade, the Jaguars traded center Luke Fortner to the Saints in exchange for defensive tackle Caron Sanders. The center spot on the 53-man roster was filled as the Jaguars signed Robert Hainsey in free agency and then signed Jonah Monheim.

At the time, Sanders bolstered depth at the Jaguars’ position of greatest need. However, Sanders was rarely active on game days and was eventually fired midway through the season.
Jaguars trade OT Fred Johnson to Eagles
In return for sending Fred Johnson to the Eagles, the Jaguars received a 2026 seventh-round pick. The move came before roster cuts, so instead of releasing Johnson at the time, Gladstone received a draft pick in return.
Jaguars trade pick to Lions for wide receiver Tim Patrick
Even before the roster cuts, there were signs the Jaguars were looking to add to the receiving room. They ended up trading a 2026 sixth-round pick to the Lions for Tim Patrick.

Patrick provides the Jaguars with veteran depth in a relatively young position group. As the season progressed, he passed Demi Brown on the depth chart and filled in when Jacksonville receivers were injured. Patrick caught 15 passes for 187 yards and three touchdowns.
Jaguars trade Tank Bisbee to Eagles for draft picks
For Bigsby, the Jaguars received a 2026 sixth-round pick from the Eagles. Ultimately, the deal was made because of a crowded running back room. Bisbee totaled 344 yards rushing and two touchdowns with the Eagles.
Jaguars trade Tyson Campbell to Browns for Greg Newsome
In addition to Campbell and Newsome swapping teams, the Jaguars and Browns also swapped 2026 late-round draft picks. By resigning Campbell and his contract, the Jaguars gain greater financial flexibility in 2026 and beyond.

With the Jaguars, Newsome caught 56 targets for 11.7 yards per catch, a completion rate of 68%. He recorded an interception and a broken ball. Newsome will become a free agent in 2026.
Jaguars trade Jakobi Meyers from Raiders
To acquire Meyers, the Jaguars sent a fourth-round pick and a sixth-round pick in the 2026 draft to Las Vegas. It’s a home run deal for Gladstone.
Meyers brings a reliable presence to the Jaguars’ receiver room and is a perfect fit for Liam Cohen’s offense with his ability to play inside and out and his willingness to do the dirty work at the receiver position. Meyers has since been extended.
