Since being fired by the Dolphins after Week 18, McDaniel has also interviewed with the Raiders, Ravens, Falcons and Titans. The Falcons and Titans already have new head coaches, so McDaniel won’t get those jobs.
Offensive coordinators from teams like the Chargers and Buccaneers are also interested in McDaniel. Teams with new coaches will likely add them as they begin to flesh out their staffs, so there are still plenty of potential landing spots for McDaniel as the coaching rotation continues.
The Browns interviewed their own defensive coordinator Jim Schwartz for the second time. Chargers defensive coordinator Jesse Minter, Ravens offensive coordinator Todd Monken, Jaguars offensive coordinator Grant Udinski and Rams passing game coordinator Nate Scheelhas also remain in Cleveland.
