Napoli’s interest in signing Real Madrid star Franco Mastantono has been well documented in recent days, particularly with reports that the Italian club are prepared to spend a fortune on him.
Their interest appears to be in moving the player to Napoli on a permanent basis, with them willing to pay up to €50 million in return for the same.

However, Real Madrid and Mastantono have categorically denied the possibility as both sides believe their paths will continue.

Now, according to “Marca”, Napoli has come forward to ask Mastantono whether he can get a loan contract in the winter transfer window.
Real Madrid, however, closed the door, dismissing any possibility of the same without even making a formal offer.

While the youngster’s start to the club hasn’t been ideal, Mastantono has already proven his potential and future in the Spanish capital.
Pubalgia has kept him out of action for several months and Xavi Alonso will slowly reintroduce him into action in 2026, paying particular attention to dealing with tricky setbacks.
However, the player or the club are not entirely considering leaving.
Mastantono has made ten appearances in La Liga for Real Madrid so far this season, starting seven times and scoring one goal during this period. He averaged 1.8 shots per game and 0.7 key passes.

He has become the youngest debutant in the history of the Argentine national team. If he is selected for the national team, he is likely to make history and become the youngest World Cup debutant for the Argentine national team. Needless to say, the sky is the limit.
