Pueblo police are investigating after a crash at the intersection of Joplin and Portland avenues on the afternoon of January 13 left one person dead.
According to reports, the single-vehicle accident occurred at 3:12 pm on January 13 and injured another person. Antoinette Ramos, Pueblo police spokesperson. Ramos said the injured person, a passenger in the vehicle, was in stable condition, but she could not comment further on the extent of the injury.
Pueblo police remain on scene and the intersection remains closed while detectives investigate. On the afternoon of January 13, Ramos was unable to comment on the cause of the crash.
The Pueblo County Coroner’s Office will release the identity of the victim and the cause and manner of death once next of kin have been notified.
