PS Plus Monthly Games for October Include WWE 2K24, Dead Space and Doki Doki Literature Club Plus!

Sony has announced the list of PlayStation Plus monthly games for October. Next month’s free PS Plus games include wrestling sim WWE 2K24, survival horror shooter Dead Space, and visual novel Doki Literary Club Plus! All three games will be available to all PS Plus subscribers starting October 1, including Essential, Extra, and Deluxe/Premium tiers.

The PlayStation parent company revealed October’s PS Plus lineup during Tuesday’s State of Play broadcast. PlayStation Plus members have until November 4 to add all three games to their library and continue playing as long as they have an active PS Plus subscription.

Additionally, September’s monthly PS Plus games will be available on the service until September 30. These include Quidditch Champions, MLB The Show 24 and Little Nightmares II. Here’s the PS Plus monthly game lineup for next month:

“WWE 2K24”

There isn’t much new about the WWE 2K game, as fans of the long-running franchise already know what they’re getting. Visual Concepts’ latest wrestling game was released in March and offers slight improvements over its predecessor. There have been some improvements to the gameplay, and this time players will have access to a “Super Terminator” for even more powerful finishing moves.

WWE 2K24’s Showcase Mode celebrates the 40th anniversary of WrestleMania and allows players to relive some of the greatest moments from the game. You can compete in landmark matches with WWE legends like The Undertaker and Andre the Giant, or battle as modern superstars like Cody Rhodes and Roman Reigns. The game will be released on PS4 and PS5.

The 2023 remaster of the original Dead Space is coming to PS Plus next month. This is a survival horror classic in which players control engineer Isaac Clarke as he explores the USG Ishimura, a mining ship crushed by grotesque Necromorphs. Clark must investigate what happened on the ship and search for survivors, while using an array of engineering tools to eliminate the undead he encounters.

Developed by Motive, the remaster rebuilds the original game from the ground up, bringing graphical fidelity up to modern standards. “Dead Space” is coming to PS5.

Doki Literary Club Plus!

The expanded version of Doki Doki Literature Club (Plus!)! It will also be available on PS Plus next month. The game is a visual novel with limited gameplay that tells the story of a high school student who joins a school literature club. The story continues to unfold, revealing romantic subplots with other characters in the game, with player choices determining how the story progresses and how each relationship develops.

Plus! This version of the game comes with additional side stories, a soundtrack, and more. The game will be released on PS4 and PS5.

PS Plus members can play all three games at no additional cost. Earlier this month, Sony also announced the list of games that will be added to the PS Plus game catalog in September. These include “The Brave Squire”, “Night in the Woods”, “Chernobyl”, etc.

PS Plus Extra and Deluxe/Premium tier subscribers can enjoy even more benefits. At the State of Play, Sony announced that The Last of Us Part 1, a remake of the original game, will be added to the PS Plus game catalog on September 26 (today).
