PlayStation Plus’ monthly game lineup for April has been revealed, with Nacon’s cyberpunk shooter RoboCop: Rogue City at the top of the list of games joining the service next month. Based on the iconic film series, this first-person shooter puts players in the role of a half-human, half-machine metal-shoe police officer on the crime-ridden streets of Detroit. Other games joining PS Plus in April include survival horror game The Texas Chainsaw Massacre and Bandai Namco’s role-playing game Digimon Story: Cyber Detective – Hacker’s Memories. All three games will be available to PS Plus subscribers starting April 1.
The PS Plus monthly games announced on the PlayStation Blog on Wednesday will be available on Sony’s subscription service through May 5. RoboCop: Rogue City
Developed by Teyon and inspired by the cult film series, RoboCop: Rogue City pits players against Detroit’s crime lords in brutal fashion. This old-school first-person shooter equips players with RoboCop’s iconic Auto-9 pistol and an array of different weapons to navigate grimy levels crawling with criminals. Players can shoot across the environment, leaving a bloody mess in their wake.
“Robocop: Rogue City” will also receive a standalone expansion later this year called “Unfinished Business.” So now is the perfect time to pick up the original and play the entire campaign. The game is playable on PS5.

Another game based on the iconic film series is coming to PS Plus in April. The Texas Chainsaw Massacre is an asymmetrical survival horror game developed by Sumo Nottingham that recounts the events of the 1974 film. The multiplayer game is known for its faithful adaptations of horror classics, allowing players to take on the roles of victims or cannibal family members from the film in tense survival scenarios.
The game has five maps, two of which are taken from the original film, and has day and night modes. While playing the victim, the player must survive and escape the house of horrors as members of the Slaughter family and Leatherface hunt them. The game is playable on PS4 and PS5.
