More than 400 Powerball tickets worth more than $400 were sold across California over the weekend, with the top “consolation prize” ticket selling for more than $2.3 million.
A ticket worth $2,323,527 was sold at Wright’s Market on Ventura Boulevard in Oxnard, the California Lottery website reported late Saturday.
The drawing coincided with a then-$1.5 billion jackpot. Here are the winning numbers for the December 20th draw – apparently no one got all 6 numbers:
4, 5, 28, 52, 69. PB: 20.
The drawing for the new $1.6 billion jackpot will be held on Monday, December 22 at 8pm PT.
