EL PASO, Texas (KTSM) – A prominent El Paso radio talk show host has been arrested, according to jail records obtained by KTSM.
Shortly after 10:30 a.m. on Saturday, January 10, El Paso County Sheriff’s Office deputies conducted a traffic stop in the 300 block of West Vinton Road for a traffic violation.
During the stop, deputies saw “suspected drugs” inside the vehicle, according to the Sheriff’s Office. The driver was asked to get out of the vehicle and investigation revealed the man was armed with guns and drugs and was operating the vehicle while intoxicated.
The man was identified as 58-year-old Michael Earl Witt.
Jail records show Witt was arrested on charges of unlawful carrying of a weapon, possession of marijuana, possession of a controlled substance and driving while intoxicated. His bond total is $6,600.

Buzz Adams was booked into the Downtown Detention Facility by the El Paso County Sheriff’s Office on Saturday, Jan. 10, according to jail records. He posted bail the next day, January 11.
