Popular Bay Area organic juice chain to shut down all locations

Juice House Co., a Bay Area chain known for its organic cold-pressed juices, will close all of its stores on April 4, its founder announced Saturday.

“After years of pouring love into this space, this team, and this community, Juice House Co. is closing,” Tiana Duvauchelle wrote in a social media post. She did not provide a reason for the closure.

The company has stores in Benicia, Petaluma, Napa, Emeryville and an outpost in the San Francisco Ferry Building.

Juice House Co. grew out of Duvauchelle’s Benicia-based yoga collective Yoga House and built a following around its organic, unpasteurized juices, plant-based beverages and its push for sustainability.

In his statement, Duvaucher reflected on the wider role of the business.

“JHC is so many things – early mornings, growth, friendships, first jobs, last jobs, diversity, wellness, community, connections, challenges, family and so much heart,” she wrote.

In a follow-up post, the company said all stores will remain open through April 4 and will continue to operate during normal hours while supplies last.

Customers can still use gift cards in-store on the final day, but no refunds will be offered. Bottle returns only accept store credit.

“We will continue to be fully operational and offering our full menu while supplies last,” the company said.

The closure comes as the Ferry Building Market remains open, which has seen high rates of openings and departures in recent years.

Duvauchelle encourages customers to stop by before the last day.

“We would love to see you before we close,” she wrote.
