‘Parent had a long night starter pack’

The department shared a photo on social media of what looks like a typical school lunch box: fruit, a bag of chips and other snacks.

But there’s one thing in a student’s lunchbox that’s definitely not appropriate: a can of Cutwater Lemon Martini. The drink contains 11% alcohol.

“That’s not Capri Sun. That’s not Apple Juice. That’s a whole ‘Parents Have a Long Night’ starter pack,” the department wrote on Facebook.

South Fulton police say they understand how crazy mornings can get for parents. They simply ask parents to double-check their children’s lunches.

“In Fulton County Schools Police Resource Officers are required to conduct inventory during recess,” the post said.
