Today, the Real Madrid Medical Service examined our player Thibaut Courtois and it was diagnosed that he has an injury to the rectus femoris muscle in his right quadriceps. His recovery will be monitored. “
Early assessments after the game against Manchester City had already raised doubts about the seriousness of the problem.
Courtois is still feeling severe pain, prompting further investigation.
