The former Saint-Etienne man is not the only one facing a tough decision from new head coach David Pague, who has chosen to exclude several key figures from the Cameroon squad.
The most notable names omitted include goalkeeper Andre Onana (Trabzonspor), defender Jackson Chathua (Wolves) and iconic striker Vincent Aboubakar (Baku National Team).
This exclusion list caused an uproar in Cameroonian football.
