The NFL offseason is underway, with just 31 days until the start of the new league year and the statutory tampering period. Philadelphia’s offense has changed since the team added Sean Mannion as offensive coordinator and Josh Grizzard as passing game coordinator. Even with the stable of players, the Eagles’ roster could undergo further changes this offseason. The Jays have 21 players who will test the restricted or unrestricted free agency market in the 2026 NFL offseason and make key decisions on key skill players. Several key factors include Jaylen Carter’s pending extension and the contract status of star tight end Dallas Goedert.
We’ve previously looked at players the Hawks would target if there was no salary cap. Now we’re looking at one player the Eagles can draft from each AFC team.

In 16 regular season games in 2025, Epenesa totaled 32 tackles (17 solo), including 2.5 sacks, and four passes defensed, including two interceptions. The former Iowa pass rusher is down in multiple statistical categories compared to the 2024 season, with fewer total tackles (39 to 32), sacks (6.0 to 2.5) and forced fumbles (2 to 0). Defensive snaps dropped significantly (583 to 434).
Melifonwu played in 15 games, completed 53 tackles, 1 sack, and had a PFF grade of 62.9 in 549 snaps.
New England Patriots: OL K’Lavon Chaisson
The New England Patriots signed Klavon Chaisson to a one-year, $3 million contract last offseason, and they may want to keep him, but if he leaves, he’ll be a plug-and-play option. Chaisson started 10 games in a limited role on a team that was headed to the AFC Champions League and has since expanded, recording 31 tackles, 7.5 sacks (second-most on the team) and a fumble return for a touchdown. He set career highs in sacks and tackles for loss this season.

New York Jets: DB Andre Cisco
The former third-round pick out of Syracuse suffered a season-ending chest injury in a Week 8 win over Cincinnati and underwent surgery the following week. Before the injury, Sisco played only 1 defensive tackle. His 41 tackles in 8 games were the second most on the team.
It’s likely he was set back in training camp with a broken foot, and he was inconsistent the rest of the season. He missed the start of the season and finished with 27 catches on 36 targets for 307 yards, both career lows. The Ravens re-signed Mark Andrews. With Minter as the new head coach, will they want to keep that possibility alive?

Hendrickson is getting older, but he’s still closer to the edge. He has four sacks in seven games this season. Still, Hendrickson’s 17.5 sacks and 65 pressures in 2024 are league-highs.
The veteran offensive guard posted a 77.7 PFF grade on 324 snaps.
Pittsburgh Steelers: DB Kyle Dugger
After being acquired from New England, Dugger had 42 tackles (22 solo), including 1.0 sacks, and five passes defended (including one interception and one pick-six) in nine regular-season games with Pittsburgh.
Ingram served as the Texans’ starting right guard in 14 regular season games, recording a 71.5 PFF grade in 929 snaps.

Indianapolis Colts: DB Nick Cross
Cross played in all 17 regular-season games for the third consecutive year and finished with 120 tackles (72 solo), including a career-high 2.5 sacks. He also had five passes defended, including one interception and one forced fumble. The 2022 third-round pick is expected to become an unrestricted free agent this offseason.
Jacksonville Jaguars: CB Greg Newsome II
Newsome, a player the Jaguars acquired from the Browns in a mid-season trade, has only four career interceptions but has 33 breakups in five seasons.
Lynch, who is 6-foot-4, 295 pounds, originally entered the league as a 2020 fourth-round draft pick of the Minnesota Vikings. Lynch appeared in all 17 games as a backup in his first season with the Titans, recording 20 tackles, one sack, four quarterback pressures, two tackles for loss and two passes defended. This year, Lynch played in 17 games, completing 25 tackles and 0.5 sacks.

Franklin Miles can rush both inside and outside as a versatile defensive tackle and is well above average against the run as well.
Kansas City Chiefs: DB Brian Cook
The 2022 second-round draft pick is long and fast and is the highest-rated free agent player in his class. In 2025, he had six pass breakups and Kansas City’s defensive snaps accounted for 82.6 percent.
Las Vegas Raiders: OL Dylan Parham
Parham, a four-year starter with the Raiders, is just 26 years old and a reliable offensive guard with some upside.
Los Angeles Chargers: OLB Odafe Oweh
After being traded by the Ravens on October 7, Owe finished with 7.5 sacks and 27 pressures in Los Angeles. He had three sacks in the team’s wild-card loss to the Patriots.
