All five prognosticators hit it big, and the Jaguars won this game. Here’s why Dan Parr chose the Jaguars:
“Indianapolis has a path to victory, especially if it can turn long, methodical drives into touchdowns and force Trevor Lawrence to commit an error or two…or three,” Parr wrote. “I just wouldn’t predict that to happen, with the quarterback playing clean of late and Jacksonville on the verge of a division title. The Colts — once an 8-2 team that seemed destined to make the playoffs — need a win to keep their slim playoff hopes alive, but I fear that’s where the road ends for them.”

Seven ESPN staffers made their predictions, with seven picking the Jaguars. Jeremy Fowler picked the Colts to win.

Professional Football Lecture
Mike Florio thinks the Jaguars will win 30-20, while Chris Simms thinks Jacksonville will win 34-20.

Pete Prisco also picked the Jaguars 35-20.
“The Colts have slim hopes of making the playoffs while the Jaguars try to win the division title,” Prisco wrote. “The Jaguars have momentum. The Colts have a lot of serious injuries and the defense is a mess. The Jacksonville offense is rolling and Trevor Lawrence is going to continue that here.”
