A rep previously told People magazine of Spears’ arrest, “This was an unfortunate incident and completely inexcusable. Britney will take the right steps and comply with the law in the hope that this will be the first step in long overdue change in Britney’s life.”
The rep expressed hope that Spears “gets the help and support she needs during this difficult time,” and that “her children will spend time with her. Her loved ones will come up with a long-overdue, necessary plan to help her prepare for healthy success.”

Spears has been making headlines recently for her music, with news that the singer is selling her hit-filled album for an estimated $200 million.
