The Nebraska men’s basketball team looks to break two long-standing program records Wednesday night when the Huskers take on Wisconsin at Pinnacle Bank Arena. Kickoff is set for 8pm (Central) and the game will be televised nationally on BTN and available on the Huskers Broadcast Network, Huskers.com and the official Huskers app.

The No. 23/22 Huskers (9-0) defeated Creighton 71-50 on Sunday. Rienk Mast scored 20 points to lead three Huskers in double figures as NU went on a 13-0 run in the first half to take control and earn its second straight win over the Bluejays. Nebraska dominated on the defensive end, holding Creighton to 31% shooting, its lowest mark since January 17, 2024.

Mast entered the Big Ten Conference averaging 18.1 points per game, shooting 55% from the field, including 45% from three-point range, along with 6.1 rebounds and 3.2 assists. The 6-foot-10 senior has averaged 21.5 points per game since Nov. 15, including four 20-point games.

The Huskers, playing a Big Ten game at home for the first time since 2018, are looking to tie their best start in school history, as NU started the 1977-78 season with ten straight wins. Additionally, NTU can tie the longest winning streak in school history with a win on Wednesday. The record is held by the 1990-91 Huskers, who won a school-record 14 games and finished with a school-record 26 wins.

Wisconsin comes to town with a 7-2 record after a 96-76 win over Marquette on Saturday, and the Huskers will face their toughest test of the season on Wednesday. Big Ten player of the week John Blackwell led the Badgers with five double-digit 30-pointers, including 6-for-12 from 3-point range, while Nolan Winter (13 points, 13 rebounds) and Alexas Biliuskas (11 points, 10 rebounds) both had double-doubles in the win.
