Multiple people shot at Fresno County mobile home park, deputies say

Multiple people were shot at a mobile home park in Fresno County on Sunday.

Sheriff’s spokesman Tony Botti said deputies responded to a shooting at 6:45 a.m. outside the Flamingo Mobile Home Park, located at 2581 E. Central Ave. near Maple Avenue.

When officers arrived, they found multiple people suffering from gunshot wounds. All victims were taken to Fresno hospitals and their conditions are unknown at this time, Botti said.

“The rioting and shooting appeared to be happening outside,” Botti said. “No one inside the mobile home was injured as a result of the gunfire.”

Detectives will try to find out if any of the victims live at the property or have friends living there, Botti said.

Detectives will remain at the scene for much of the day interviewing witnesses and searching for surveillance cameras.

Botti said it was unclear whether the shooting was gang-related. The age of the victim is also unknown.

No suspect description was provided.
