Aswell (11-3 MMA, 1-1 UFC) looks to continue that momentum after getting back into the win column in October with a first-round performance over Lucas Almeida. The 25-year-old former Fury FC champion has had mixed results since 2024, with wins proving difficult to come by as competition becomes increasingly fierce.

Riley (12-0 MMA, 1-0 UFC) earned a co-main event spot in just his second UFC fight. The undefeated 26-year-old earned a victory in his UFC debut in November by knocking out Bogdan Grad in the second round. The former Cage Warriors standout has defeated opponents in three straight games and nine straight in his career.

Luke Riley and Michael Aswell Jr. will likely square off in a featherweight bout in the co-main event in London.
While it’s a bit surprising to see Riley in the co-main event, the British fighter has been in my Prospects to Watch in 2025 column, so I can’t say I’m completely shocked.

Still, Aswell is a well-trained 4-ounce boxer. Fight Club cannot be ignored. Not only is Aswell durable and well-educated in pocket exchanges, but the American is also likely to get off to a strong start in the game.
The underlying problem, however, is Aswell’s tendency to take the goals he deserves – especially from the left. If Riley seizes these openings early on, the Englishman may well start to pull away in the closing stages.
