LA Knight may be considered by many fans to be the most underrated and underutilized talent on the main roster today, but he originally appeared on the main roster as Max Dupri (brother of Maxxine Dupri), with the two managing Ma.çé and Mån.sôör.
Even Maxxine has established herself these days and is currently holding the WWE Women’s Intercontinental Championship. However, the Women’s IC Champion has not forgotten her “brother,” and she commented on their relationship today during an interview on “Battlefield Podcast.”

“Look, if he doesn’t start acknowledging his sister, we’re going to have a big fight!” Maxine declared. “Like I said: I had a championship match and it was one of the really great guys and he didn’t help me prepare, he didn’t send his sister a text saying good luck… He should have sent me some advice and I would have given him some advice!”
Additionally, she added that their “mom” misses Knight and his presence at family gatherings. Still, she noted that she understood why he didn’t want to be involved with her, but exclaimed that she had proven herself and that Knight should welcome his “little site” back. In the past, Knight has commented on ditching the “Max Dupree” gimmick, saying it ultimately wouldn’t work because he was already “L.A. Knight” in NXT, so audiences simply wouldn’t accept his new persona.
