That’s good news for the Dallas Mavericks, but not good news for the rest of the NBA.

The performance of the No. 1 pick is unprecedented in NBA history. He is the youngest player to score at least 20 points in three consecutive games, younger than LeBron James was when he first did it.

Flagg’s strong performance is translating into wins.

Early in the season, that’s not always the case. Flagg struggled a bit, and so did the Mavericks.

The Mavericks also realize Flagg is not a point guard. In fact, they have Brandon Williams at point guard instead of D’Angelo Russell, and he’s doing just fine.

If Kyrie Irving can return from his knee injury in time, this Mavericks team could be dangerous.

Even though they didn’t make a splash in the playoffs this year, it’s clear Flagg has them heading in the right direction.
