Matt Ryan comments on new Falcons GM Ian Cunningham

The Atlanta Falcons officially hired Ian Cunningham as their new general manager Thursday night. Cunningham, a former Chicago Bears assistant general manager, was one of six candidates who interviewed for the position and one of only two to participate in follow-up meetings.

Just like that, the Falcons fulfilled two of their most important roles. Kevin Stefanski will replace Raheem Morris as head coach and Cunningham will replace former general manager Terry Fontenot in the front office. The team also hired Matt Ryan as its new president of football.
