According to reports, Marvel’s Spider-Man 2, the critically acclaimed superhero action-adventure game produced by Insomniac Games, will be released in the PS Plus game catalog this month. The first-party game released exclusively on PS5 in 2023 and was ported to PC last year. Game Catalog will also reportedly add racing game Test Drive Unlimited Solar Crown and puzzle platformer Neva in February.
PS Plus game catalog leaked
This information comes from Billbil-kun, a well-known leaker with a track record of accurate scoops about games and gaming hardware. In a report from Dealabs on Tuesday, the tipster claimed that the three games will be added to the PS Plus game catalog on February 17.
The leaker was unable to confirm the rest of the games joining the catalog this month. According to reports, Sony will announce this month’s complete PS Plus game catalog lineup on February 11. However, the official announcement may be postponed to State of Play, which is scheduled to air on February 12.
“Spider-Man 2” will be the third game in Insomniac’s Spider-Man series to join the game catalog. Marvel’s Spider-Man Remastered and Spider-Man: Miles Morales are both available to watch on the service. Spider-Man 2 continues the interconnected stories of Peter Parker and Miles Morales as they face their greatest threats yet: Kraven the Hunter and Venom.
Test Drive Infinite Sun Crown will be released on PC, PS5 and Xbox Series S/X in 2024, while Neva will be released on PC, Mac, PlayStation, Xbox and Nintendo Switch in the same year.
If the leaks are true, it looks like Sony will continue PS Plus’ strong start to 2026. Last month, PlayStation parent company added Resident Evil: Village and Yakuza: Fortunate to the PS Plus game catalog. The game subscription service is available for PS Plus Extra and Deluxe/Premium members.
This month’s PS Plus Game of the Month is open to all PS Plus members and is currently available on the service. These include boxing sim Undisputed; survival action-adventure Submarine: Below Zero; Metroidvania-like game Ultros and combat flight sim Ace Combat 7: Skies Unknown.
