Mark Few has been officially named a finalist for the Naismith Memorial Basketball Hall of Fame’s Class of 2026. This is the second consecutive Hall of Fame nomination for the Gonzaga Bulldogs leader, and hopefully he will be nominated this year.
Few are ranked alongside 10 other famous North American names. The final 2026 class will be announced during the NCAA Final Four weekend in April.

Few coaches have the highest winning percentage among active NCAA Division I coaches with an 83.3% winning percentage and a 766-154 overall record. The legend has also coached more than 31 former Zags (and counting) players in the NBA during his tenure.
Since taking over as head coach of the Gonzaga program in 1999, Few has turned a small Jesuit institution in the Pacific Northwest into a college basketball powerhouse. In these nearly 30 years, he has achieved one major achievement after another. Here are a few, no pun intended:
