LSU football has added another wide receiver to its 2026 transfer portal. Former Old Dominion wide receiver Tre Brown signed with the Tigers on Monday night, according to On3’s Hayes Fawcett.
Brown made the commitment during a visit to LSU, just days after LSU added former Hawaii wide receiver Jackson Harris. Brown and Harris won’t be the end of LSU head coach Lane Kiffin and wide receivers coach George McDonald. The Tigers are building a wide receiver room from the ground up after nearly every scholarship wide receiver on LSU’s 2025 roster entered the portal or declared for the NFL Draft.

In 2025, Brown caught 38 passes for 762 yards and four touchdowns for the Monarchs. He was a threat in the game, averaging 20.1 yards per catch. Brown ranks fifth in the Sun Belt with 2.58 yards per route run. Yards per route run is a stable statistic, meaning it is a good predictor of a transfer wide receiver’s future performance. This bodes well for Brown’s performance in Kiffin’s offense.
