But it has been a difficult season for the French World Cup winner – he has made just three starts in the Champions League and a further five in Ligue 1.
The club’s owners are believed to be locked in a contract impasse with Dembélé – the former Barcelona striker’s current contract expires in 2028.

Dembele considers move to Premier League
“English clubs have set their sights on Ousmane Dembélé to fill the void left by the impending and painful departure of their star player Mohamed Salah,” the report said.
“The current Ballon d’Or winner has postponed a contract extension with Paris Saint-Germain after failing to agree an astronomical salary.
“His demands for €60 million a year have created an insurmountable rift with the club’s management.”
Liverpool spent £450m on new players last summer, including Florian Wirtz and Alexander Isak in UK-record deals. Despite the spending, the reigning Premier League champions are suffering from a hangover this season.
