MUFC and Liverpool want Kit Magson
Manchester United are hoping to seal a deal for Kit Magson, with Liverpool and Crystal Palace also named as interested parties, according to the Daily Mail.
The report said: “Tony Cotton, the man thought to be scouting Sene Lamence, was recently spotted dominating another young goalkeeper in Flintshire.”

“The young player is Swansea goalkeeper Kit Magson, the son of former Manchester City goalkeeper Martin, who is currently on loan at Connah’s Quay Nomads.
“With interest from other teams including Crystal Palace and Liverpool, Cotton’s appearance for Manchester United caused quite a stir in North Wales.”
Margotson’s father knew Rob Page
Margotson was born in Swansea City and is currently on loan to Connor’s Quay for the 2025/26 Cyprus Premier League season. The 19-year-old has caused quite a stir and now two of the most famous clubs in English football history are vying for his signature.

Wales underage international Magson could embark on a career at the highest level. He is likely to get the chance to link up with Liverpool’s Under-21 squad – Team coached by former Wales first team coach Rob Page.
Interestingly, Paige and Kit’s fathers date back to the early 1990s, when they first played together for the Wales U21 team. They subsequently played together for Cardiff City, while Magson played both inside and outside the Wales senior team during Page’s international career.
Meanwhile, Margotson Sr. is the current goalkeeping coach for Wales and the former England national team, but did not become a member of Page’s national team between 2020 and 2024.
