Lenovo Legion Go 2 leaks surfaced on Monday, followed by reports that the handheld device will be unveiled at the IFA show in Berlin later this week. The leaked information leaves little to the imagination, detailing the device’s hardware specs and design. Lenovo will likely confirm pricing and availability of the Legion Go 2 when it officially launches, but a new statement has already hinted at how much it will cost when it launches this year. The Lenovo Legion Go 2 is likely to cost more than $1,000 in the United States, much more than some competing handheld devices on the market.
Lenovo Legion Go 2 price and availability tips
The information comes from Notebookcheck, which quotes an unnamed source as saying that the Lenovo Legion Go 2 may be priced between $1,049 and $1,099 (approximately Rs 92,400 to Rs 96,800) in the US. However, it’s unclear whether this price range is related to the AMD Ryzen Z2 Extreme variant of the handheld device or the so-called lower-end Ryzen Z2 chip model. Lenovo has not yet locked in North American pricing for the handheld computer, possibly due to concerns about U.S. tariffs and market conditions, sources said.
According to sources, the price of the handheld computer will be higher than some competing handheld computers in the European market, especially the Eurozone, where Lenovo plans to sell the device for 999 euros (approximately Rs. 1.02 lakh).
As for availability, the Lenovo Legion Go 2 is said to be available in the Eurozone in early September, but will be available in the United States at the end of November.

It is worth noting that the first-generation Lenovo Legion Go is priced at $749.99 in the United States and 799 euros in Europe.
Earlier this year, MSI announced the Claw A8 handheld device running AMD Ryzen Z2 Extreme. While pricing has yet to be officially confirmed, the device has reportedly been spotted on European retail sites for close to $1,000. On the other hand, the ROG Xbox Ally X is said to be priced at €899 in the European market, which could be nearly $200 cheaper than the Legion Go 2’s reported price.
While Microsoft and Asus have confirmed an October 16 release date, pricing for the Xbox-branded Ally handheld device has not yet been confirmed. The companies said they needed “more time to figure out the macroeconomic impact on pricing.”
The Lenovo Go 2 is expected to be unveiled at the IFA Berlin technology trade show, which opens on September 5. According to a leak on Monday, the handheld device is expected to be powered by a Ryzen Z2 Extreme chip and be equipped with a 78Whr battery.
