Lando Norris has revealed that David Beckham showed up in his DMs after winning the 2025 Formula 1 Drivers’ Championship and revealed the former footballer’s support.
Since celebrating his first title, the Briton has been working hard to get his message across, while also taking some time off over the winter break before returning to prepare for the 2026 season.

“Honestly, I haven’t read half of them,” Norris admitted. Fast and curious said the podcaster when asked who showed up in his messages after the win.
“I’ve got a lot but I haven’t even looked at it. I need to, but it takes quite a while. I’ve probably responded to half of them. So, I’ve got four more days to try and look through every one of them, whether it’s on Instagram or WhatsApp or whatever, but there’s a lot of great people out there.
“There’s a lot of guys from different sports. Whether they’re doing well in the sport, like one of the best, or guys that I watched growing up, young, old.

“When you see something like this, the support or just congratulations and respect that you get is something that I greatly admire. It’s a beautiful thing. But I do apologize to those who I haven’t responded to.”
When pressed about possible messages from Beckham, the McLaren driver added: “I mean, we talk about different things from time to time. He does message me. David is always great. He’s in the garage every now and then in Bahrain, Qatar and a few different places. He’s a cool guy so it’s always nice when his name comes up.”
