ANAHEIM, Calif. (AP) — Chris Kreider beat Connor Hellebuyck with a rebound at 4:47 of overtime to give the Anaheim Ducks a 5-4 victory over the Winnipeg Jets on Friday night.
Beckett Sennecke kept the puck and shot on a two-on-one breakout, and Kreider backhanded the loose puck from the side of the net.

After third-period goals from Leo Carlson, Pavel Mintyukov and Ryan Poulin put Anaheim up 4-3, Winnipeg’s Kyle Connor tied the game with 1:22 left and Hellebuyck replaced an offensive player.
Hellebuyck made 35 saves in his first game since helping the United States win Olympic gold.
Jacob Trouba also scored for Anaheim, Sennecke had three assists and Lukas Dostal made 29 saves. The Ducks have won seven straight at home and have won 11 of 13 games.
Anaheim won two nights in a row after the break, defeating Edmonton at home to give head coach Joel Quenneville his 1,000th NHL victory. The Ducks have five games remaining on their nine-game homestand.

Winnipeg rookie defenseman Elias Salomonson scored his first NHL goal, and Alex Iafallo and Gabriel Vilardi also scored. Back in the hunt for a playoff spot, Winnipeg has one game remaining in three games before an eight-game homestand.
