NEW YORK (AP) — Karl-Anthony Towns had 26 points and 15 rebounds and the New York Knicks beat the Brooklyn Nets 93-92 on Friday night for their fourth straight victory.
Jalen Brunson scored 17 points and OG Anunoby scored 16 points for the Knicks, who trailed by 13 points in the first half but lost a 14-point lead in the fourth quarter.

Ben Saraf had a chance to win the game for the Nets at the buzzer, but he missed a 45-foot shot.
The Knicks beat the Nets for the 14th consecutive time, the longest winning streak for either team in local play. The Nets last beat the Knicks on January 28, 2023, shortly before trading Kevin Durant and Kyrie Irving.
Josh Minott scored 22 points and Ziaire Williams added 17 for the Nets, who have lost six straight.
New York scored a season-low 14 points in the first quarter and trailed 50-44 at halftime, but outscored the Nets 31-15 in the third quarter to lead 75-65 entering the fourth quarter.

With 9 minutes and 34 seconds left in the game, Towns’ layup extended the score to 84-70. Brooklyn went on a 17-0 run to lead 87-84 with 3 minutes and 33 seconds left in the game.
Towns and Brunson scored 8 points together, and the Knicks led 92-87 with 1:04 left in the game.
Nolan Traore hit a layup for the Nets, followed by Brunson’s free throw. Traore’s three-pointer brought the Nets within one point, then Towns missed two free throws and then Saraf’s shot missed.
