Jared Verse completely changed how he works out because of Aaron Donald

Los Angeles Rams star Jared Firth drew widespread attention last summer after he publicly challenged future Hall of Famer Aaron Donald to work out with him in an interview. Wes may regret calling Donald out because he begged for mercy during training at Aaron’s house.

It got to the point where Verse wanted to call the police and tried to lie about needing to leave in order to get his mother into his house.

Months later, the workout is still brought up, but it’s certainly been good for Verse. He said in a video with Brad Kraut that he borrowed most of his training methods from Donald and completely changed the way he trains.

“I learned most of my training from him,” Verse said. “Like the way I train. I used to like weightlifter type workouts. So I would do one or two sets, use your phone. Do one or two sets, use your phone. Now, I don’t even touch my body. I can’t touch my body unless my phone starts ringing like crazy like an emergency. But, he’s a psycho. That guy is a psycho.”

Donald is a physical guy who never takes a day off and can outplay anyone on the team. Heck, he would work harder than anyone in the NFL, which is why he was so dominant during his decade in the league.

Firth has the ability to be one of the best edge rushers in football, and if he trains half as hard as Donald does, he’ll be well on his way to that goal.
