It’s certainly a sentiment Old Trafford fans will get behind, as the Cameroonian has been one of the most influential players the club has brought in in recent years.

Now that he’s settled in and his goal contributions are increasing every week, it makes all the bargaining with Brentford over the summer worth it – not to mention he’s already attracted interest from the likes of Arsenal, Newcastle United and Tottenham Hotspur, but he spurned them in favor of the Reds.
Carragher was praised ahead of kick-off at Hill Dickinson Stadium last night, with Mbemo setting up the only goal of the game in the 71st minute and setting up the winner.
Since returning from the Africa Cup of Nations in mid-January, the 26-year-old has scored or assisted in five of six Premier League games – all of which have come under Michael Carrick.

He has scored 9 goals and 3 assists so far this season and will try to add more goals before reaching his peak in 2025/2026.
In the process, Mbeumo will do his part to ensure United qualify for the Champions League, meaning he will experience Europe’s best competition for the first time in his career.
