DENVER (AP) — Jamal Murray scored 42 points on 15-of-24 shooting and the Denver Nuggets beat the Washington Wizards 121-115 in the final minutes on Saturday night.
With the two sides tied at 110, Murray hit a three-pointer with 2 minutes and 12 seconds left in the game to help the Nuggets maintain the lead. He then hit a jumper and made two free throws, extending the lead to 117-110.

Tim Hardaway Jr. scored a season-high 30 points, Peyton Watson added 21 and the Denver Nuggets won for their fourth straight and sixth in the past seven games without injured Nikola Jokic (left knee bone contusion).
Keshawn George scored 29 points to lead the Wizards, who lost their sixth straight game, including all four on the road. Khris Middleton and Alex Sarr each scored 16 points.
The Nuggets shot 53% from the field throughout the game, including 40% from three-point range.
The Nuggets made 14 three-pointers while the Wizards made 11 three-pointers.
Murray scored 23 points in the first half, and the Nuggets entered the halftime break trailing 63-62. The Wizards maintained the lead in the third quarter and entered the fourth quarter with an 86-83 lead. Murray scored 16 points in the fourth quarter to help the Nuggets win.
