Pep Guardiola says he will not make any decision on whether Erling Haaland or John Stones will feature in this weekend’s game against Salford City until the end of training today.
The Blues, who were beaten in last season’s FA Cup final, will face our second-tier neighbors this Saturday 14th February at the Etihad Stadium (kick-off 3pm UK).

Haaland was substituted at half-time against Fulham in midweek, while Stones has not featured since November.
Guardiola said: “Erling is not 100 per cent fit yet but we will see how he feels today.”
“It’s not a big problem,” the doctor told me. But there were some disruptions before and during the game, which is why he didn’t play in the second half. We’ll see his evolution.“
Asked if the Norwegian could feature on Saturday, the boss added: “We will decide today.”

John Stones returned to the bench against Fulham on Wednesday night after missing 19 games.
The England defender has made just 13 appearances this season and Pep said he will decide whether to feature against Salford City.

“Yes, unfortunately [been] A long time,” he said.
“His last appearance was against Leeds United [in November] But luckily he had already had two or three training sessions.
“We’ll see tomorrow if he plays or if he plays.
“Our priority is to beat Salford and get to the next round.
“What we have achieved over the past few seasons has been fantastic, reaching finals, semi-finals.
“Unfortunately we didn’t win the last two finals but it’s always a success to get there and I always think about that.
“Hopefully before this long week, I think we need a break because we’re tired physically and mentally with so many games to play in the next few months and we can have a few days off after tomorrow.”
